St. John UCC welcomes Stephanie Abudayeh as our new music director.  Stephanie is a graduate of Elmhurst College and teaches music at Dawes Elementary School in Evanston.  She has extensive experience in choral and band music, both as a performer and director.  Stephanie is a flute player, pianist, and singer.  She worked in a number of churches before coming to St. John, and will be directing Chancel Choir, JuBELLation, and Junior Choir, as well as giving overall guidance to our music program.

We also welcome Rosie Metcalf as our new nursery attendant.  Rosie has worked in her daughter's day care center for the past five years.  Before that she was a personal caregiver to an elderly couple in Arlington Hts.  Her presence in the nursery every Sunday will provide our youngest children with consistent and nurturing care.  A St. John volunteer will work with Rosie every week.
