Summer greetings from St. John United Church of Christ, a caring Christian community in downtown Arlington Hts., Illinois.  We are a God is still speaking, church.  Whoever you are, wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome at this United Church of Christ.

Join us this Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for our Independence Day service in North School Park (across the street from the church).  We'll sing national songs and receive communion.  Bring comfortable furniture, a blanket, or sit on the concrete steps of the amphitheater.  There is no Sunday School this Sunday.

There is no dress code at St. John; come as you are!

A professionally-staffed nursery for children age three and under is available during worship.

Communion, to which all are welcome regardless of age or affiliation with this church or any church, is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month at 9:30 a.m.  On the second Sunday, non-perishable goods are collected for an area food pantry.

The first floor of St. John Church is fully accessible to those with mobility limitations. The west parking lot off of St. James Street has several handicap parking spots, and the entrance to the building from that parking lot has no stairs. The first floor of the church includes the sanctuary, fellowship hall, library, church office, pastor's office, nursery, and an accessible washroom.
