Welcome to St. John United Church of Christ in Arlington Heights! We are an inclusive, multigenerational, welcoming and accepting community of around 425 people seeking to follow Jesus' "Great Commandment" to love God and all of our neighbors. We are an Open and Affirming, "God is Still Speaking" congregation of the United Church of Christ.
We are located in beautiful downtown Arlington Heights, across from North School Park at Evergreen and St. James (2 1/2 blocks SW of Arlington Heights Road and Euclid Avenue).
Whoever you are, wherever you are on your life's journey, you are welcome here (and we really mean it)!
Upcoming event highlights at St. John:
This year’s Wednesday evening Lenten series will again offer the opportunity to grow in faith by learning about other religions. Each evening will feature a speaker from a different faith, and will begin with a simple soup supper at 6:15 or 6:30 p.m. and conclude by 8:00. Events will be in Fellowship Hall. A different church group will prepare soup, bread, drinks, and salad each evening. A freewill offering will be received for the cost of the meal. Sign up in Fellowship Hall for each evening you will be attending. The suppers begin on March 12 and continue on March 19 and 26 and April 2 and 9. The Spiritual Life Ministry is looking forward to seeing you at these events!
